Book Review #51: The Girl Before by JP Delaney

The Girl Before by JP delaney surprisingly knocked me off my feet!πŸ™€ Wow!πŸ™ŒπŸΌ  Just, WOW!πŸ‘πŸΌ I was already aware that this is a psychological thriller right from the moment that I requested for a copy of this book, but it still showered me with mind-boggling twists and turn out of events! I undeniably adored it!😻 Each and every chapter is like a missing puzzle piece which helped me solve the mystery. I enjoyed playing detective-ish and the journey of unraveling the skeletons in the closet of the characters. I am so impressed!πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ Normally, stories like this does not really astound me that much but this one made an exception!πŸ‘πŸΌ The writing style is just so awesome and the author caught my full and undivided attention all throughout the story. The characters are mysterious and creepy which made me eager to finish this up right away. The alternating point of view is terrific because I was able to compare the two characters that were narrating the story. I was also able to dig deeper into their perspectives and made my own assumption and conclusion. Which, unfortunately, was wrong!πŸ™Š Hahaha!πŸ˜‚ I love how my guess turned out to be so far from what’s the truth.πŸ™ˆ Such an excellent piece of work that deserves to be known by readers all around the globe.πŸ€” Some bookworms doesn’t like reading this kind of genre but I am far different from them. I love mysteries, crimes, and thrillers and I am delighted that I chose this one to be my next read. Good choice! Uh huh!πŸ€— I highly recommend this book and I can’t seem to say any negative thing about it except that I craved and asked for more!😏 I’ve read plenty of negative reviews on Goodreads which honestly made me want to think twice before starting it but I am not a go-with-the-flow type of reader, I am more of a risk taker, hehe!πŸ˜… So it’s worth it! Once you start, you can never stop. Hope I was able to convince you to delve into Emma and Jane’s world where sex, love, and money all rolled into one. Bravo, JP Delaney!πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

I would like to thank the publicity department of Hachette Australia for giving me a free copy in exchange for an honest and fair review.πŸ’œ
