Book Review #47: Beautiful Sacrifice (Maddox Brothers #3) by Jamie McGuire

A Maddox guy never ceases to astonish me! Taylor is the 4th Maddox boy that I met (not literally, though!πŸ™„). Whenever I read a story about the Maddox brothers, I always end up getting these tiny little butterflies in my stomach. I don’t know how they do it but they just keep on sweeping me off my feet. I am always on cloud 9, no exaggeration or anything BUT as the saying goes, “when a Maddox boy falls in love, he loves forever…” Yes, they are douche bags sometimes, they got these sexy full sleeve tatts all over them, oftentimes they talk dirty and shit, but nevertheless I still love them with all my heart! I guess I always have this thing for badass fictional characters. LOLπŸ˜‚πŸ˜¬πŸ™Š I can’t wait to finally meet the 5th and last boy in the Maddox family!πŸ™ˆ whew!☺️
The story took place in Colorado where Falyn works at a restaurant owned by a couple who looked after her for almost 5 years. She ran away because her parents are control freaks. She met Taylor Maddox in that same resto where she resides. Taylor and Falyn instantly felt the spark and magic no matter how many times the female character suppresses it and push our lover boy away.πŸ™„
I actually finished this book in 5 hours and the minute I started to delve inside their world, I got lost and memesmerised! They are undeniably made for each other. Even though the twist and turn out of events were predictable I still found myself shocked once the actual revelations were revealed. I cried a couple of times especially during those moments where both the characters became fragile and they almost gave up. I admired Taylor’s perseverance and honesty, it’s freaking rare. He is, indeed, a gem worth keeping. I find Falyn strong, she is so admirable! I like her fierce characteristic and I am so impressed with the way she handled things. Not everyone has the heart to forgive and forget. Her past is tragic but it is the same reason why a Maddox boy fell in love with her. She is the epitome of a real survivor and fighter.πŸ’œ
I realised a lot of things after I finished the story:

 1) Don’t push people away, they might get tired and eventually give up.

2) No matter how awful our past experiences are, if a person truly loves us they will embrace each and every flaw that we have, all of them.

3) Forgiving someone after they have hurt and betrayed us is freaking hard but in the end we have to sort things out and decide if we are brave enough to give them a second chance.
I highly recommend this and i am giving it a 4/5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
