I have decided to finally read this story in order to get away with my reading slump which is already ongoing for two weeks now (sobs!). And this book is very cute, so light and the characters are all very bubbly. It is a fast-read, you can finish it in less than 5 hours I think. I love the idea that there were 14 point-of-views in the story including the “bench” and the “squirrel”. Hahaha! See? It’s so cool, really. This is a typical love story involving two young adults who are both shy and discreet. The innocent and pure kind of attraction. I can’t really say anything much because YA genre is not my kind of thing. But I really enjoyed this one.
Setting : 3/5 because of the usual campus scenes and coffee shop escapades.
Characters : 4/5, because they are all so cute, lovable and interesting.
Plot : 3.5/5, because it is very common. The low-self-esteemed protagonist who is having a hard time to cope up due to a vehicular accident.
Writing Style : 4/5. I love light stories like this wherein the characters are very easy to relate to and understand.
Overall Rating : 4/5
If you want something to take away your stress and slump, you should definitely check this one out.
